FREE Career Development Workshop
Take control of your future and begin exploring and planning your
next steps. The workshop is open to pre-professional, current, and
former professional dancers of all genres. If you need inspiration,
direction and concrete instruction to make a secondary career a
reality, do not miss this workshop!
The workshop introduces dancers to Career Transition For Dancers'
signature counseling methodology so they can begin developing their
future career while they are still performing or years after they
have stepped off the stage. In the workshop you will learn:
•To identify personal interests and skills
•Career possibilities for the future--find your next passion
•To address the emotional aspects of change
•Parallel careers and survival jobs in this tough economy
•Information on grants and scholarships
•How we can help you start your own business
•Information for those who wish to continue using our services
after the seminar
Receive one-on-one career counseling
Appointments are 30 minutes each, free of charge and available from
3:30-6:30pm. Meeting with a counselor individually is essential to
