Demystifying the Consulting Process

A consulting project is a major investment for any nonprofit. Lori Moffa, Director of Consulting for The Nonprofit Center, who has been on both sides of the consulting relationship, will discuss the key components that comprise a consulting project, including: making the decision whether to undertake one, hiring a consultant, clarification of roles, sample RFPs, and contract negotiation.

Audience: Staff and board members of organizations that may be considering a consulting project in strategic or business planning, fundraising, finances or some other aspect of organizational development.
