Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance

Make arts and culture part of the debate!

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, along with seven other cultural organizations across the Commonwealth, have joined together to create a policy guide for the gubernatorial candidates, encouraging them to create a cultural policy agenda. You can read the document below. We have also submitted this document to each of the debate hosts to encourage them to include questions relating to arts and culture in their debate. We are working hard, but we can't do it all alone! We need YOU to tell the candidates that they should have a cultural policy agenda!

To email the candidates click here. The letter is already written and all you have to do is fill in your name and hit send. Feel free to add your own personal message too! The more emails the better!

After you sent your email, join the discussion on social media about what questions YOU have for the candidates! See what other GroundSwell advocates are saying on our Facebook page and on Twitter using #PAGovRace

This fall the gubernatorial candidates will participate in three debates throughout the Commonwealth and we are working to ensure that arts, culture and other quality of life issues are included in the discussion.
