Recap: 2015 Cultural Cabinet Annual ReceptionOn June 4, over 80 individuals, including civic and business leaders as well as representatives from Philadelphia's cultural sector, gathered for the the two-year anniversary of the Cultural Cabinet to celebrate the tremendous work accomplished in and for our region's cultural sector. The reception was held at the beautiful Center City home of Cultural Cabinet members Ajay and Pamela Raju. Our special guests for the evening included former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, Pennsylvania State Senator Larry Farnese, and Philadelphia Councilman David Oh. We were also delighted to honor our 2015 Cultural Ambassadors Bob Capanna and Cathy Coate for their tremendous work in support of the cultural sector and to hear a wonderful performance by the Keystone Boys Choir. The Cultural Cabinet has played a vital role in our policy and advocacy work over the past two years, and we hope to continue to engage this group more in the coming year.
