2022 Bloomberg Arts Internship Application Announcement

The Cultural Alliance is now accepting intern and worksite applications for the 2022 Bloomberg Arts Internship. Since 2015, the Bloomberg program has worked with more than 100 arts, culture and heritage organizations across Philadelphia to provide transformative summer internships to Philadelphia high school seniors. In that time, the Cultural Alliance has matched more than 300 talented young people with creatively engaging, meaningful internship opportunities.

The 2022 internship program will be the most ambitious yet, pairing 60 interns with in-person opportunities at up to 30 worksites. Bloomberg interns go through a rigorous application process to identify candidates whose interests, ambitions and skill sets align with the mission and needs of a worksite. Interns have managed social media campaigns, produced vibrant promotional materials and videos, conducted field research and more.

The 2022 Bloomberg Arts Internship will run from June 27 through August 12. Interns are paid a living wage for 35 hours per week of cultural immersion, worksite experience, and professional development. Worksite partners receive a $750 stipend per intern hosted. In addition, the Cultural Alliance provides a robust support system to worksites, including intern payroll management, supervisor onboarding, bi-weekly program check-ins, and background checks and clearances for all supervisors, free of charge. Organizations of all sizes and disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply before the March 30 deadline.
