Coming Together, Setting the Course: Reinvent Your Future with the New Marketing and Fundraising Strategies of the Next Decade

All too often Board of Directors work in their little bubbles. Always focusing on how “things have always been done” and what their traditional roles have been and should be. Breaking that bubble and sharing experiences, both good and bad. All attending theatre companies are encouraged to bring one, two or three of their Board members to this meeting. (No more than three please.) Be sure to include your Board Members’ names (and titles if any) in your RSVP to the Theatre Alliance.

Why are so many volunteers and staff members reluctant to participate in approaching prospects and donors? How can board chairs, development committee members, nonprofit CEOs and professional fundraising staff lead their board teams to own -- and even enjoy -- the essential and ultimately rewarding work of major gifts fundraising? In this practical train-the-trainer session, topics address the needs of nonprofit leaders who want to increase volunteer and staff participation in approaching and engaging prospects and donors.
